The State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Plant
There is a good reason that Slades are recognised for our drinking water manufacturing. We have a leading, state of the art plant that uses blow-moulding to create bottles of different sizes and shapes.
We use Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) in our plastic bottles. This is the best choice from a manufacturing point of view because it is straightforward to mould using heat, and is lightweight, safe, and fully watertight. From an environmental point of view, PET is a great choice for single use beverages because it is fully recyclable at end of life. With a worldwide focus on sustainability, circular economy, and recycling, choosing materials that are ecologically sound is a must for any business.
Blow moulding works by heating a PET preform, placing it into a mould, and then high-pressure food grade compressed air is injected into the mould. Once the plastic has cooled, the bottle is removed. This method of bottle making allows you to create unique bottle shapes, creating the ultimate brand identity. Alongside this, our design team are on hand to provide branding advice, help with materials, and any other aspect of drinks branding.
